Who actually uses a cell phone to make phone calls…besides me? Most use it to browse the net, play games, send texts ( e-mail is out now), talk on Facebook, etc…but never phone calls.
I had a flip phone I was happy with for years; then I started working with and supervising 14 year olds…phone calls would go unanswered as the only would respond to text messages. finally had to relent and obtain a smart phone just to be able to stay in contact with my crew.
Many years ago when I got my daughter her first phone, I got a plan that allowed 300 texts per month. Naive, silly me. The first month’s bill was $300!!! Switched to an unlimited plan that afternoon.

I hate talking on the phone. Texting is my main way of communicating with anyone (I am 60+, BTW).
