I read my dog food label and realized that they had a factory that disassembled corn so they could have seven different ingredients after the meat and bone meal instead of having the first ingredient of cornmeal.
I DO have to wonder why the people who write the copy for a can of Dog Food go to all the trouble to label it as “Homestyle”, or some such. I have “Choice Cuts in Gravy”, “Country Stew”, and more. Remember, dogs will chew on road kill if given the chance, so I’m QUITE sure that the fancy labels are ONLY for the benefit of their humans…

My pooch used to love chasing the covered wagon rambling through the kitchen. Never found out what he would do to it if he actually caught it!

My Siberian is the slowest and pickiest eater I’ve ever seen. On the other hand my Lab is a scarfer extraordinary.
