That would have kept them gnawing for a while. Poncho and Boomer, don’t you know those old bones are fossilized?

I like the “innocent” grins as they try to make their escape. Not suspicious at all.

Only works in the movies Poncho … That’s why it’s called Movie Magic ;-)

Anybody remember “Bringing Up Baby”, still one of the funniest (IMHO) movies ever made, even though it’s from 1938?

This scene reminds me of it.

It has Cary Grant as a paleontologist, who’s been working for years on assembling a brontosaurus skeleton,

and Katherine Hepburn, as a totally wacko young heiress.

Her aunt’s little dog steals and buries a very important dinosaur bone…. and is chased, (along with both a tame and a wild leopard….) through the countryside.

I give it about seven out of four stars….

and can’t help wondering whether it inspired Paul Gilligan.

They forgot the sunglasses, fake nose, and mustache.

Security guard isn’t buying it. Those boys haven’t a leg to stand on.

In “Bernie” they had a whole body. Even in a movie I don’t think they could have pulled it off with just a thigh-bone (too much suspension of belief required).
