I’m guessing this is a practice run at stealing, snatching or snarfing the turkey tomorrow. Panel 3 is a hoot…so is the THWUMF! in the last panel. Great facial expressions today…poor “Fat Bottomed Girl”.

Face it. Some dogs aren’t really built for dainty tasks, nor are some dogs built for heavy duty. But all of them want what is on the counter.

If one of the cats wanted that cake, it would be gone.

And now there’s an Annie-shaped indentation in the linoleum.

OMG! How cute! Especially the expression on Annie’s face in the third panel, and the THWUMF in the last panel. :-D

For Saturday’s Child and others who may have wondered or thought that I was being rude about sweet Annie: “Fat Bottomed Girls” is the title of a 1978 single by the renowned British rock band Queen. Lyrically, this track is all about the appreciation of women endowed with large derrières. … Because Mercury liked fat bottomed “girls… or boys”. My sobriquet for Annie as a "Fat Bottomed Girl is meant in the kindest way and it certainly is true. Ya really can’t call her fluffy.

And Happy Thanksgiving to all the DED fans (& the Anderson family, of course) from your northern neighbour. There will never, ever be a wall between our nations. God bless & be thankful. I am. Have a great one!

We have custom built counters from a remodel in the last few years. Carmy put scratches in it with her paws. She was also determined to get on the couch in my “man cave”. After many failed attempts to get her to stop, only to have her repeatedly ignore my commands; we went to LilG’s daughter’s house. She lets her dogs on the furniture. Carmy was playing and roughhousing with them and they were bounding from couches to chairs and Carmy did not follow suit. I felt this feeling off accomplishment and also pride in Carmy, in a moment of excitement, remembered her training. I think what a person allows their pets to do is their own decision. Carmy sheds a lot and it is pain in the butt enough for me to have to vacuum the floor so often. I just am lazy and do not want to vacuum the furniture as well.
