Tuck in? Obviously it means Dig Inn. Its just that with all the UK video and literature I watch and read I just have never heard the expression before. Carry on.
It never ceases to amazement on how his owners never seem to learn. For example, they’re always leaving a plate of sausages lying around for him to nick.
Train the children up in the way they should go and they will not depart from it … which is why we have a very strict “NO BEGGING” rule in our house. Bella (new in our home) is catching on, but it’s a struggle.
Fred! Are you teaching them bad manners? Of course you are, and what the heck! Go for it! BTW, I haven’t used or heard the term “tuck in” in years, but I did grow up hearing it and I like it. I’ll have to put it back into my vocabulary. I grew up in the south so maybe it’s more a southern as well as British thing.
