He’s got a particularly narrow field of interest, but there’s an author for everybody in my experience. It’s a matter of finding him/her/it. :D
Mark Dawson writes a series about an ex-MI6 assasin, John Milton, who wanders the world doing just that. Quite enjoyable.

With Amazon self publishing he’ll be able to submerge into that specific genre indefinitely.
Reminds me of Don Pendleton’s “The Executioner”. The series started in 1969, at last check there were over 400 books written. Marvel’s “The Punisher” was based on this series.
