if Peppermint Patty asked her mother to cut off the crusts, this problem for Woodstock wouldn’t exist

That is a crusty way to treat a bird.

That’s worth more than tuppence a bag.

I remember giving a crust of Wonder bread to my pet bird. She wouldn’t touch it. That tells you something.

If she’s going to be that picky, it’s better if her dad just cut off the crusts, so at least she’d eat more of the center

The birds are not as appreciative as you would think.

It is white bread. It barely has crust.

I have a granddaughter who would not eat a sandwich if it were cut wrong. It had to be cut diagonally.

Entertaining to watch how those tiny little brown birds [sparrows?] fight over bread.

Doesn’t anybody else think it’s weird that she’s eating bread with nothing else on it?

Actually, in the town I lived in there was a large retention pond with a nice population of ducks. They all got wiped out by botulism because of all the bread scatted around on the ground that got moldy before they ate it. PLEASE….if you must feed, feed Cheerios, and in SMALL quantities!!!

Well, that way you can eat your bread and let the tiny flying tots have a day!I like those paper packets for lunch. Plastic ban is underway.

Ironically the crust is the best most tasty and nutritious part of the bread. I ate mine once I found out.

I’ve always wondered: What’s with the lines on Franklin’s face? I notice they do that on Family Circus with African-Americans, too. Is it something necessary for how the skin tone shows in the newspaper or something? I would think the fact that his skin tone is brown would be enough but maybe one of you know??

OK, how many people here were spoiled and had their mothers cut off the crusts?

I never understood those who wouldn’t eat the crusts. To me they are the best part of the bread. The darker the better! It’s like candy to me!
