Don’t be knocking the Dummies books. I have found some of them to be very helpful in several different subjects. Remember that we are all born ignorant and there is no shame in being ignorant. However there is shame in remaining ignorant.
Last I checked, there were more than 500 Dummies books, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t all fit on that one bookcase.
Plus, the ones I have had the most experience with were for programming languages, computer hardware, operating systems, etc. Dozens and dozens of them. Ziggy will be a computer nerd in short order.

Well, we all use help for one thing or another, but our sources are more pretentiously named than the “for dummies” series!
