Stealing signals is as old as sport itself.
The easier target is the QB. Teams will “lip read” the QB when he relays the play in the huddle. After the play is run, the opponent will know what to expect when the play is called again. Cheating or smart football? “You make the call” ;-)
If I were the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff, I’d need more than a large laminated card to hide my shame and embarrassment.
