I salute anyone that can stay on a diet at this time of year. First Halloween then Thanksgiving and last but not least Christmas. So much good eating going on.
Victoria had appalling table manners and when she’d finished her meal everyone else’s plates were cleared away, finished or not.

She could be thankful that, as a monarch, she’ll be spared cooking before and cleaning up afterwards.
Aren’t the British thankful the Pilgrims left?
