Woodstock sits in his nest. Snoopy is dismayed to see his calendar in the garbage. Snoopy thinks, "You threw away the calendar I gave you!"<BR><BR> Snoopy looks at it and thinks, "It has pictures of beagles on every page! Beagles jumping over fences! Beagles running across fields! Beagles winning 'best-in-show'!"<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "How could you do such a thing?!" Woodstock responds.<BR><BR> Snoopy rolls his eyes and thinks, "He wanted to try out his new wastebasket."<BR><BR>

Unusually mean-spirited of Woodstock. I mean, even if he didn’t like the calendar, it seems awfully contemptuous of him to treat a gift from a friend with such disdain.

What if the calendar was from someone you have nothing but contempt and disdain for? Let’s say a boss. Would it be okay to toss the calendar then?

A likely story, in Panel 4. It’s plain that Woodstock simply didn’t like the beagle themed calendar.
