This one has a rhyme pattern similar to Ogden Nash (especially in his later years as his rhyme became more and more of a stretch). It also has a Dr. Seuss feel to it with all the made up animal names. Normally I’d say perhaps this strip influence both of those, but the birth dates don’t line up, as both of them were born right around this time, and would not have read the strep in infancy!
