Amateur Night! A good professional drinker knows enough to stay home.
Over the years, if I didn’t have to work on New Year’s Eve (which I dreaded), I have always preferred to spend in the safe and semi-sane confines of the casa. This year will be no different. Wife and I will enjoy a nice dinner, a little vino ( no champagne ) and watch the fireworks and festivites from our roof patio.
I never cared much for celebrating the passing of an arbitrary time on an arbitrary day. The only thing that really changing is a number on a calendar.

Aw Mike, this is so sad. He doesn’t even have Minnie for company. Of course she is likely off carousing with Keykcat!

I must admit, at age 62 New Year’s Eve isn’t what it used to be !!!! And, for the most part, that’s GOOD….lol
