Does anyone know how large the drawing are when first drawn? I’m still dazzled at the beautiful detail, perspective, creativity of these.
I just found (below in my iPad’s version of this) a book that purports to have the pages full size, 16″ × 21″, for a measly $125. Is that the size as drawn by McCay, or just the size as originally printed?
I would love to see it. I wonder how long it took McCay to draw this. Would he ever be amazed to see the graphics tools we use 122 years later!
