Are these the guys who bring bombs on planes because the odds against two bombs on a plane are so small?Or is that too old a joke for the terrorist/TSA era?
Shortly after graduation pilot training (a week after flying a multi-million dollar supersonic aircraft), I rented a light airplane and my wife and I flew to Tampa to visit her grandparents. When I got to the airport, I could not rent a car since I was under 25 years of age.
Up until recently, I used to be a good insurance risk. Since I was married, I committed suicide 25% less often than my unmarried counterparts. Now that I passed the 70-year mark, my insurance premiums went up 900%. I has nothing to do with my health, it’s only a matter of numbers. According to my doctor, I am in better shape than about half of the 40-year-old he treats.
We cashed in the policy and put the money in a burial fund. That’s really all we need.
Get it? Actuaries calculate odds of certain things happening? So they’re all figuring out what the actual odds are of Snyderman attending the function—that’s the “buzz.” :)
