Linus stands on the doorstep to a house and looks behind him. He says,"I won't be gone long..."<BR><BR> He walks down the lane pass the fence, with Lydia walking behind him.<BR><BR> He stops and looks back at her; he says,"Well, hi!" He smiles as she stands alongside him; he asks,"It sort of looks like we're going in the same direction, doesn't it?"<BR><BR> They walk along together and he continues,"Would it be all right if I walked along with you?" She asks,"Aren't you kind of old for me?"<BR><BR> As she walks in front of him, he raises his hands and exclaims,"I'm not asking you to marry me! I'm only asking you if you want me to walk with you!!"<BR><BR> They stop on the curb by a pole and she asks,"Why are you so excitable?" He replies,"I'm not excitable!"<BR><BR> She presses the signal button and continues,"You seem excitable...I think I know what your trouble is..."<BR><BR> She walks across the street and concludes,"You don't know how to deal with young people!" He throws his head back and scream.<BR><BR> As Linus leans his head on the pole, Charlie Brown walks up to him and says,"If you're going to cross the street, you should press that button..."<BR><BR>

I love this strip so much. Lydia always makes me laugh and I love Linus’s reactions. 10/10 for Mr. Schulz.
