Marcie says, "I hate baseball."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "Sure, I'll trade you Marcie for Lucy . . Yeah, I know Marcie isn't very good . ." Marcie says, "I hate baseball."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "But she has a lot of enthusiasm . ." Marcie screams, "Oh, how I hate baseball!"<BR><BR>

In the episode “Amateurs”, Peppermint Patty told Charlie Brown about the trade in person. She said, “I’ll trade you Marcie for Lucille”. “Lucille” is what PP called Lucy (it is also Lucy’s full first name).

Yep, I remember when this was adapted into the 2003 TV special “Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown”. Marcie was always pretty funny here.
