    On occasion, for no reason I could discern, our dogs would howl. I never could figure out what caused them to howl, sirens perhaps that I couldn’t hear and they could…I don’t know, but they always seemed happier afterwards, so there may have been something therapeutic in it for them; sort of a doggy primal scream?
