#1-One of your children walking up to you and giving you a hug for no particular reason. #2-Said child picking up his toys at the end of the day after being asked only once.
There used to be a place Los Angeles that sold a three pound burrito. If you finished one, with no substitutions, in an hour, they’d give you a $100.
One time some 5’ 6" girl did it three days in a row. The owner told her that if she could do it again the next day, with a news crew filming, he’d give her $500. She did, he did, and the free publicity was more than worth it.
On a street corner in downtown, I encountered a young Black man with his “don’t mess with me” face on— so much so that I gave him a friendly/amused smile. He broke: hey, check out around the corner, you won’t believe… Just another kid. He’ll learn, it takes practice.

Years ago I often walked at night through a rough part of town
I told myself I was probably the most dangerous thing out at that hour
I may have been right, glad I never had to find out for sure
