To anyone who doesn’t get it, the phrase “Jumped the shark” came from one episode of the Happy Days sitcom where the Fonz water skis over a shark. It’s considered the point where the show had definitely run out of steam and was dying. Mrs. Keef doesn’t realize that show was the very source of the phrase she uses.
“The past is prologue.” All the past.
