I never did understand how letting same-sex couples marry would supposedly harm, or even challenge, my (hetero) marriage. Now we’ve had marriage equality for a decade, and I still have no interest in divorcing my wife to marry a man.

Actually, the same people who want to outlaw gay marriage also want to outlaw no-fault divorce. Their obsession with regulating other people’s sexuality would be funny if it wasn’t so harmful.

People are going to act MORAL even if we have to throw ‘em in JAIL. Because THREAT of PUNISHMENT is all it takes! It’s JUST THAT EASY!

It’s positively scary what some people want to force other people to do or not do.

It should be as easy to get divorced as it is to get married. Failing that, it should be as hard to get married as it is to get divorced.
