you’re not America’s premier cartoonist unless you have a website hawking mouse pads, t-shirts ,sweatshirts, hats,
socks, keychains, lunchboxes etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc that have the image of your cartooncharacter on them and are selling them all at a steady clip.
THEN (and only then) you are America’s premier cartoonist
