I do especially like (sc)Avengers.

Many many years ago, I saw the first issue of a B&W indy comic with a weird name. I looked at it, and thought, "Silly premise, too dark, nobody’s gonna get this.

And a few years later… Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were everywhere. And I could have kicked myself for not having bought the original first printing comics. :P
