Yeah, I doubt that “Star Wars” could get any dumber.

I’m waiting for Star Wars to unfreeze Walt’s head.

Except for “Rogue One”, he’s eerily prophetic.

Yah. Episodes I – VI and Rogue One are good. The rest have room for improvement. Disney did not take the time to think it through. As Jar Jar Abrams was heard to say sometime after “The Last Jedi,” “George had story outlines?”

I know this is a decade out of date, but still: Lucas is a moron who should be throttled with his own neck wattle. The best thing he ever did for the franchise was sell out and walk away. Episodes I-III were an abomination that ruined my childhood enjoyment of IV-VI, and made it clear that he never had any overarching storyline in mind.

J R R Tolkien, the genius who created The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, was afraid of what Disney might do to them if they got their hands on them. He may even have forbidden his son Christopher, the guardian of his estate, from dealing with them. Not sure about that, though.
