I didn't like hi hat!!
I remember in the first Christopher Reeves Superman movie (1978), it’s his first emergency in Metropolis, and as he’s looking for a place to change, he passes one of these types of public phone kiosks, looking at it questioningly. For those of us who remember the cartoons of him changing in a phone booth, it was a bit amusing.

For you youngsters, that thing on the right I think was called a “phone kiosk” or something like that. It is a relic of the last millennium.

Too many people paid for one paper & took a handfull. Now the boxes mostly have weekly advertisers’ papers.

Two things now extinct. The newspaper box and the payphone.
