It seems it’s time for a preview of the next story while Splitface readies his armoured car scheme.

Looks like another story inspired by Mike’s love of very old films. Metropolis is certainly one of the most famous movies from the 1920s.

Just when it looked like we wouldn’t be seeing Mysta at all in the year 2019. :D

Of course, the Playhouse saves a ton of money on special effects, seeing as Mysta brings her own…

It’s a reimagining of the “Sound of Music” with robots replacing Nazis and Satanist Nuns establishing a False Maria in the Von Trapp household. Very dark.

1-SUGAR DADDY: As you know, our last play bombed badly after it was learned that the drugging and kidnapping of an audience member was not a clever part of the production added in the interest of making that old play more contemporary.

*2-HANDLES: Yes. So, I presume you’ll try something from this century this time?

3-SUGAR DADDY: What? Of course not. Besides, unless some villain steals the chair and ladder prop he adds ominously from Old Town, I mean Our Town, we’re all set to do METROPOLIS!

HANDLES: Comcast took away my TCM channel so I’ll have to take your word for it.

SUGAR DADDY: But in a nod to the modern world, I’ll be playing MARIA!

HANDLES: BRILLIANT!

So is there a chance we’ll be seeing Mysta perform in something similar to that little handful of sequins Brigitte Helm was almost wearing during the nightclub dance scene?

I will say, it’s nice to see Mysta dressed more realistically now. Still exceptionally lovely.

And yeah, Vitamin is showing his — fascination – with Ms. Chimera strongly.

Looks like they might be doing a stage version of ‘Metropolis’.

Well, at least it ain’t Our Town, another rehash by our “authors” appears on the horizon. Fanboys can get their pics of Moon Maid in her skimpy costume out of their closets for a couple weeks.

Well it’s about time we had a side story to interrupt the story. /s

Mysta Chimera on stage with (or at least for) Vitamin Flintheart, in a production of Metropolis? When do tickets go on sale? Hello, “Broadway in Chicago,” errr, I mean “Broadway in Tracyville”!

I have no opinion for now whether this diversion will play (ahem) into the Splitface story or whether it represents a coming new story….
