If Republicans hate the Government so much, they should stop cashing its paychecks.

Sadly, the government never stops expanding its powers, spending and intervention in our lives.

As a people we are supposed to be governing ourselves. A free person who respects others does not need to be “governed” .

Only the government needs to be governed – and those who would seek and abuse power within the government to interfere in Our lives for the benefit of the “governors”.

At election time, assess which of the candidates would do the most harm if s/he stays home, then elect him/her and send ’em to Washington, where s/he will be mostly contained and confined by conflict with other such individuals.

The House has passed quite a number of bills. They’re all sitting on McConnell’s desk. He alone is responsible for “no governing” going on.

This comic has it wrong again. Democrats with Republicans in the House have been working. It is the Senate and especially their leader Mitch McConnell is the dragon at the gate blocking bills from getting to the president. Which is unconstitutional and bad use of govt.

It’s amazing the number of posters here (two) who, by their fear and hatred of government, appear to favor anarchy.

They sure don’t want a republican-run government, which would quickly morph into totalitarianism.

Subsidiarity – maybe while the Feral gubmint is arguing the State and local governments can cowboy up and start taking care of their own business as set forth by the Founders.
