I remember the first time I went into one of these gourmet beverage places. I ordered a large hot chocolate as I wasn’t a big fan of coffee back then. I could have sworn I heard the price wrong so I made the clerk repeat it 3 time $5.75 for a hot chocolate. This was back in 1992 to help put my shock in context. Sometimes if there is new staff at my coffee joint they look at me funny when I tell them I want just a cup of coffee
