As I sit in my hot tub each morning I get the crows, jays, chickadees and juncos watching me and laying odds on when I am going to haul my butt out to the garage to hang the bird feeders. They can be pretty motivational.
Here at 43°N, we haven’t had a snowfall that’s lasted on the ground more than a week, nor a stretch of weather of more than about five days without the temp going above freezing. If things keep up like this, I’ll be using my air conditioning by the middle of april.

We had 3 inches of snow from Thursday night to Friday morning and it was gorgeous! Almost all melted by Friday afternoon.
