About 40 years ago the Army transferred my wife and me from the Panama Canal Zone back to the states…at the end of January. We took a leave to visit relatives in Wisconsin. Our poor dog didn’t like the cold weather, we took him for a walk, thought he had hurt a paw because he was limping. Then we realized he would take a few steps with one paw raised, but that one down, raise another, put it down after a few steps, etc. Ground was too cold, he was trying to protect his feet. Got him some boots, seemed to help the problem, but he didn’t like the boots too much.
I have a big dog, Aussie Shepard/Great Pyrenees mix with markings like Kenny. I often take him with me when I go places. The one place he doesn’t like is my friend’s woodshop because it has radiant floor heating….he prefers to wait outside in the cold.

It’s cold enough to freeze your tongue to the floor, and you only noticed that now?

A pity those of us here can’t knit Will a sweater. Sadly, cartoon physics.
