Some friends of mine once mentioned that they had an aunt who had a clubbed foot which meant that when she bought shoes she had to buy 2 pairs in order to get a complete pair. What she did was go out and find someone else had the same sizes as her but on reversed feet. One of them would buy the shoe they wanted in one size and the other would buy the other side and then they’d trade the off shoe so they both had a matching pair.

You need a buying buddy who’s lost his other leg.

My C leg is good, but it works better if it has footwear matching the other leg.

You can only blame yourself, Wiley. In order to get ONE shoe at half-price, you need to bring in a friend who only needs the other shoe.

So what will Peter do with the other shoe?

He should be glad it didn’t cost him an arm and a leg!
