Christmas is over? I think there are quite a few people who didn’t get that memo. Today is the Second Day of Christmas in Iceland (“Boxing Day” in some other countries) and is a public holiday. People will be paying for Christmas until February and many people keep their lights up until Easter. Christmas isn’t just one or two day. It starts no later than the day after Thanksgiving for most people, and even earlier for many, and lasts for up to half a year.
Other than shopping and wrapping, my Christmas starts with the evening of the 14th and goes until January the 6th. Thanksgiving on, is just pre and fluff. The 25th on, is the real Christmas season. If you are not into that, at least enjoy the calm, peaceful period after the 25th.
