Maybe it’s not someone here to stop the wedding for Ellie or Hubbs, maybe it’s Charlene’s parents who are so snooty they don’t want their son officiating a wedding for people they find “beneath them”. Hey, Charlene and Nicholas’ parents do kind of come off that way.

There was a comic strip years ago (I’m sorry, I forget the name) that got terminated by the distribution syndicate. So, the artist decided to end the thing on a note much the same as what you see above today… only his was the very last panel.

Reading above with all the options, it really is a wonderful world that BeaR has developed. Complex and full of wonderful characters.

And great job in panel #3 with making her lips look so kissable. The ONLY flaw I see is that when a girl’s lips look like that, you can’t stop from kissing them for anything.

No worries…they signed the marriage certificate, right? Legally, they’re already married. The ceremony is just for show. Protest all you want. Unless…oh no…one of them is ALREADY married! GASP!

They are already legally married at this point, after the vows and the pronouncement of marriage by the preach. Interrupting the kiss is simply too late. That implies it’s Sedine, since she has the worst timing and social graces of any character in the strip. It’s not Roy or they would not look surprised, just pissed. Hubbs’ mom? Ellie’s old boss from the phone store? Some numbnutz who thinks Ellie is really Al? Nah, probably Sedine just wants a picture of all the shocked faces. Oh the humanity!
