OMG…. a few years ago, I was at a friend’s house, for Christmas dinner…
She’d invited about 15 other people, including her fairly recently “ex” boyfriend…. they’d promised each other they’d stay friends…
He showed up with several big bags of laundry, saying his new place had no machine, so he “needed” to use hers.
All she could say was "Really? Really? "
He never actually asked her for permission….
just spent the whole evening running back and forth to her laundry room, doing his wash while we all ate and socialized.
At least it reinforced her understanding of their breakup.
The chicken nugget is fine, as long as you don’t dip it in the eggnog before consuming.
Sure – send me the fruitcake instead of wasting it on the haters!
