Impeachment (the indictment) is done, that ship has sailed. We know there will be no conviction or punishment (removal) in Moscow Mitch’s Senate so the rest of this is just theater (and just maybe a little more discovery).
I worked for 20 years in a huge Federal bureaucracy. Central office in Washington would often issue ‘top priority!’ directives that had no apparent awareness of, nor connection to, current and actual problems and issues we on the front line faced. I made it a point to solemnly pass these directives on to my staff with instructions to “Give this all the attention it deserves…”.
