Panel One reminds me of Batman 1989. The Joker said almost the same thing the first time he saw Vicki Vale. The difference being Joker used the singular press and not the plural presses.

Is he actually going to wear that get up to the theater?

Comments like @blunebotttle’s aside about masks in comics somehow changing shape (or drawn) to express emotion, that very slight smile raises the thought that at minimum Mr. Roboto’s wearing grey lipstick like how some movie Batmans use eye shadow as part of his cowl. Not necessarily true, but fun to think that, as part of his Roboto character, he doesn’t move his mouth to look like an emotionless robot instead of covering it with the mask.

the plot thickens

Try putting your hands like panel 4. I can do it until I try to rotate the back of my hands outward. Seems awkward to me.

Roboto; you do realize that those antennae are not make up appliances? That they are real, and, Mysta can do a lot damage to you with them.

The headline says 2 robberies in a month but Roboto’s gang only robbed one payroll office.

Let’s see. He wears a medal mask, and she can throw lethal lightning bolts. This will not end well for Roboto.

So glad to finally have a story featuring Mysta. Wish we could have more! I enjoy her character so much, just a wonderful creation by Mike and Joe. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this story plays out.

They have so much crime at their community theater, Dick should really just keep a couple of plainclothes detectives stationed there.
