    Didn’t summer already begin in — oh, I don’t know — Australia?

    Tony asked, just now

    Miss summer?

Yes. As long as it’s not too wet or damp.

Make it medium hot to hot with the occasional thunderstorm in the evenings like in my childhood… with swimming season from beginning of March until September/October…

And real winters with snow, please. Not around freezing point with rain and sleet. Rather sunny and cold than that.

Miss Summer? You could say that. Summer ended here in August. Fall missed us completely. Snow for Halloween. 62 on Christmas day. Sun just came up and it’s 56 this morning.

What is this Summer that you speak of?

I used to own a convertible Geo Tracker in New Hampshire a decade or so ago, and I wouldn’t put my top up until the first snow of winter. I ended up driving around all bundled up in a snow suit because the first snow didn’t happen until February!
