I wondered why they obviously paused at Swifty’s shop in the previous panels. Foreshadowing!

Well! Crossed paths with her plenty of times before then, haven’t we? It’s a small world after all.

I’m sure Swift’s just here to test a few theories of hers about a certain witch, though. Considering how Ben wants to be so upfront about the truth on that, I’d imagine he’s going to end up setting her straight, huh?

So Swift just join the force and is already using her new-found powers for her own interests. Well I guess police corruption weren’t seen as a problem or even a thing in those times. Correct me if I’m wrong.
