The duplicates are much nicer to each other than they are to the original.
I hope Mom enjoys taking care of multiple Calvins now.
Clavin’s parents’ warpath is just beginning to simmer.
Imagine the Planet with 7,000,000,000 of Calvin’s clones and no one of us .
Ohhhhhh man
No one can trust Calvin. Not even Calvin.
Burn that box!
Oh boy.
“Hey! You can’t clone yourself! That was MY idea!….Oh.”
called it……ish!
Sooner or later a real evil Calvin will show up.
Calvin should have seen the movie prestige in first place. Then he would have known to kill his original to prevent “Calvin Apocalypse”.
What a luck! One Calvin is enough!!
Calvin’s multiple personality disorder makes an early appearance… :D
“C’mon, Hobbes!”
Now it’s really intense!
Remember what happens when you copy a copy… all the flaws are magnified even more, and the quality degrades even more… ;-)
This is getting ridiculous.
Instead of duplicates, Calvin should have called the replicants and given them a 4 year obsolescence date. He could call the leader Roy Batty.
KABLOOIE…!
Mom’s might need Rosalyn’s help pretty quick.
He called himself “Number Two”. A very apt description.
Only in that case would Calvin become just a normal kid. But there would also be 7,000,000,000 tigers.
Like most problems, given half a chance they multiply.
Cue The “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” Mister Disney.
Oh boy! Now we can have a trio. Step aside Mills Bros.
Too bad they didn’t clone Hobbes…
Reminds me of William Tenn’s 1940s SF story about the Bild a Man set delivered by mistake.
It’s too bad that just once one of the weird things was not actually witnessed by Calvin’s parents
The duplicator is truly a technological marvel, too bad the world isn’t ready for multiple Calvins.
Thats a helluva imagination. Its a wonder somebody didn’t take him in for psychological testing.
This is one of those moments that really blurs the reality of the strip. If all of this is in Calvin’s imagination, how did he get his winter clothes back on, get back downstairs and outside without his mom seeing him?
Hey, wait a minute. Previously, Calvin needed to get inside the duplicator and have Hobbes press a button on the outside. How did #2 manage alone?
This is so cute!!!
And then there were three…..
And so it goes…& goes…& goes…
Multiplicity – Michael Keaton
And they are ALL ‘number 2’ for brains!
Multiplicity. A great movie.
Mom: “I tell you. Calvin has so much energy, it seems like he’s everywhere at once!”
One Calvin is difficult to handle, can’t imagine few more. Parents nightmare starts.
Why do I suddenly remember “I, Mudd” after seeing the last panel?
