    Dim bulb I have heard of, puzzlewit, I have not. Noun. One who is puzzled, a stupid or silly person. Noodleneck I could not find, other than a neck like a noodle or possibly a spineless person.

    Actually, “blockhead” is a pretty old one, too. Even Jane Austen used it (or at least, it was used in “Love and Friendship”, the movie adaptation of Austen’s Lady Susan).
