I’ve met a lot of people that have eaten from the tree of ignorance.

Hosea 4:6 My people destroyed by lack of knowledge (ignorance) Was Not the unknown fruit that caused Adam and Eve to sin but their disobedience of God’s command – don’t eat.And Adam blamed both God and Eve saying, “that woman YOU gave me, gave me fruit and I ate it.” Genesis 3:12. But God was just to forgive Adam and Eve but they still paid a heavy price for their sin. Pain, sickness, and physical death of course. But John 3:16 offers eternal life thru Christ Jesus. Free of charge.

Looks like the version of Eden in this cartoon universe differs a little from the myth that prevails in ours. One tree’s fruit promises ignorance (wait, he doesn’t have that already?), another’s, knowledge of good and evil. What else is out there — grow bigger, grow smaller? Alice in Wonderland and Superman’s red kryptonite both came to mind.
