That’s what dads do. Always willing to help their kids out.

If any of you GoComics users remember, I used to be a Salvation Army donation trailer attendant. My parents used to take me to the site not because my car broke down, but rather because I don’t have a driver’s license… not to mention the bus wasn’t operational on the weekends. Now that I work at a grocery store, it’s only a few minutes’ walk of a commute.

Oh let’s face it, most of the cars in “Pluggers” keep breaking down. It won’t be long before the son has to drive the dad somewhere.

    It’s probably dad’s “old” vehicle.

I remember “Take your kids to work day”, but it was a recent thing, according to Wikipedia, 1992. Not when I was kid! Of course my mom didn’t work and dad worked two or three jobs to keep food on the table for mom and the five kids at home. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Take_Our_Daughters_and_Sons_to_Work_Day

My dad took me to work a lot before it was a national trend. As A thirteen year old, I knew how to fly a fighter jet, up thru the F89, by flying the simulators.

I often went to work with my Dad. He was the principal of my elementary school.
