Seems like we are always in the running for office mode. I get so tired of the mudslinging……well, the speech marathons, too….and, oh yes, the fund raising also.
That “fundraising” thing looks like good exercise. If you will help me get started in this great sport, which I am interested in only for reasons of wealth—I mean, “health”—I will skip the first two events and retire very quietly to a country that doesn’t believe in extradition.
Fundraising is the problem. Make it govt funded everyone gets the same amount and same access. NO private donations allowed. It would make it more equitable and give others a better shot. It also removes the need to continually fund raise as the elected officials start from day one.
