My laugh for the day. Yes, it seems as though each denomination has its own ‘must be served at the funeral’ lunch or to take to the grieving family’s home.If you do not agree, you have not read “Just Because You Are Dead is No Excuse”

Why – do they bury the Tater Tot Hot-Dishes alongside with them? – “From earth you come, to earth you must go…”

Not yours, of course. Saved your recipe.

You may have to drive to the next town 50 miles away to get those tater tots. You might want to call first to make sure they have some.

Ask your Jewish neighbors if they can spare any latkes?

My mom grew up in a small town in Iowa. It was a German Lutheran enclave. Her family was part of the untouchable Methodist minority.

You could swap in frozen hashbrowns for the Tater Tots, and have Mormon Funeral Potatoes!

I think Tater Tots should be deemed NON denominational at this point. If all religions use them to feed grieving people then they’re good for something I guess :-) Actually I love them. The ones made with cauliflower are really good, and it doesn’t make me feel so bad about eating them. The potato ones are still the best though.
