That leap is part of what’s known as Rodeo Bullfighting, performed by rodeo clowns when they aren’t luring the bulls away from riders. at Cheyenne Frontier Days it’s usually an opening act for whatever country singer or group is playing each evening. It hearkens back to the bull dancers of ancient Crete.
