I know this must have been mentioned before, but seals don’t have tails and most certainly don’t have feet! I’d need LOTS of mind-altering drugs to suspend my disbelief enough to accept these as seals. ;-)

I have never seen a baby seal with legs and a tail. Oh wait, is this supposed to prove that the Overboard comic doesn’t pretend to be a work of art?

Technically, seals also do not have ears. Sea Lions do have ears.

Hold it. Seals are pinnipeds. What gives with feet and neither a cetacean-like tail nor flippers?

Well, Mr. Dunham, I LOVE your strip, but I gotta say your baby seal looks more like Popeye’s Geep (little animule that went "geep-geep) than a seal.

Looks more like a big mouse chasing the shark.

I love Chip’s seals! Who cares what they have? It is art. Chip’s art.
