Silly person, Impeachment has already happened, the Senate farce of a trial has been squelched by Moscow Mitch McTurtle! in cahoots with the person on trial! How’s that for justice?
This cartoon is about a month late, I believe. It already happened. I think the word you’re looking for is “convict”, which seems the be the sentiment of a majority of Americans and none of the Republican Senators.
Managers for the U.S. House of Representatives filed a 28,578-page trial record with the Secretary of the Senate for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
The trial record serves as the evidentiary foundation informing the Senate impeachment trial and provides a permanent accounting to the Senate and the public of the evidence gathered against the President of the United States.
This record does not include thousands of documents and witness testimony that President Trump is blocking from Congress and the American people.
✄
Trump bragged earlier this week that he has all the evidence, but none of it was offered during the first day of his impeachment defense.
In fact, Trump’s lawyers offered no new documents in his own defense on Saturday.
More disapprove than approve of his job performance on every other issue tested on the poll.
He’s underwater on guns (42 percent approve, 51 percent disapprove), immigration (41-56), foreign policy (40-56), health care (38-54), government spending (37-55), race relations (37-56), and the environment (35-57).
✄
On impeachment, by a 50-44 percent margin, voters think the Senate should vote to convict Trump and remove him from office.
And the fact remains: every person who claims Trump is innocent refuses to testify and say it under oath; every person willing to testify under oath says Trump is guilty.

If Saturday’s two hours is an indicator, by the end of defense opening even those with TDS will agree that the impeachment was wrongful
