The 2+ “Walking Dead” series are dramas set in a fallen world. One full of ravenous ragged walking corpses reanimated by an unknown agency. Everyone is infected so if you die for any reason you will rise from the dead in just 60 seconds to 8 hours as the science found before total destruction of civilization. Though we don’t know how the rest of the world is faring. It seems to have started in the middle west states in the USA as a disease that causes influenza style symptoms with raging fever. It might even be Man made…
Don’t really get the concept of bingethons. I like to spread out the few shows I like, over the weeks they are being shown. And even then, I have not spent enough attention on them to know what has happened on them. Right now – from around 11:45 pm (husband is done with the news as the weather report has ended and goes upstairs to work on computer) to 2 or 3 am (when husband come back down for late night snack before we go to bed) is my time for watching what I want to watch on TV instead of what husband wants to watch. Right now I am watching whatever mystery show is on (Murder She Wrote as original Law and Order is not on) while reading comics online. I have no idea of what is going on in the episode and don’t really care – it is noise that does upset up. I like a show that is on in reruns later tonight – Midsomer Murders, a British series. It starts at 3 am, runs over a 2 hour period – mostly we will have snack and get ready for bed and I will watch it until it ends while going to bed. Husband found the series on something or other that we can get any time – problem is that we never bother as other things are on and when the show comes on then we remember to watch it (on a calendar he has of shows to watch). Same with Murdoch Mysteries, a show out of Canada. It is on the local ABC channel at 3 am Saturday in reruns. Earlier episodes are shown on one of the side channels of the local NBC channel at 4 am Sunday morning and are repeated same time Monday morning. In bed with nothing else going on I have a half a chance of actually watching the show and remembering it, but then again, there are episodes I have seen 4 or 5 times before I remember enough of it to know what actually happened.

Katy’s description sounds spot on for reality (?) TV.

Someone will always judge your entertainment choices if their tastes are different than your own
I get strange looks from some people when they find out how much time I spend reading comics

Oh. The Instigator is a DC sort of thing. DC being Detective Comics. Yeah, I had to look it up. Who knew?
