Nate once took an interest in Ben Franklin. I’m sure he can find another history figure to inflate his ego.

Honestly I’m not quite sure why we learn the unnecessary curriculum that we do, I often wonder how 14th century Spanish heritage is going to help me balance my checkbook in the future

I don’t get why people are saying “I hate Godfrey” when this is literally every teacher ever.

When did history become social studies? My social studies class was about societies, not dates in history – or anything at all about Waterloo.

Since people are getting exited for the upcoming Big Nate show on Nickelodeon, I have decided to search the comics for clues to the character’s voices, in order to help guess potential voice actors! Clue #1: Nate’s voice is nasal.

By the time the railway station opened in 1848… The station is named after the bridge. The bridge is named after the town in Belgium where Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated. … By the time the railway station opened in 1848, the area had become known as Waterloo after the bridge, and the station was given the name.
