Meh, if April was born without complications the first time, I’m sure she will be this time too.

    Lynn’s Comments:

This series became an animated show. These exact words were part of the script.

Close friend was on the other end of the state when his wife went into labor. I drove her to the hospital (in the next town) and said I’d be in the waiting room. A bit later a nurse had me gown up and took me into the delivery room. Marileen took my hand as an ultrasound was being taken. The nurse said, “There’s a picture of your son.”. I said, “I’m not the father.”Shocked looks all around and Marileen giggled. I explained that I wasn’t the husband either – they hustled me out of the delivery room.

With a little common sense almost anyone can deliver a baby. The mother can direct you better than you think. Besides, having someone from the hospital on the phone guiding you would be the best scenario.

We had twins. 18 hours and 27 minutes of labor and then the first and 11 minutes later the second. They are 5, or 20, years old depending on how you count it. Their birthday is 29 February.

I’m a twin too…Mom says I was the cork in the bottle (14 hours), but my sister popped out 5 minutes later like a watermelon seed!

Combined with all the pizza he just ate, this news means a heart attack for Michael.

My mother was 5 foot 1 and I weighed 12 lbs 13 1/2 ounces. My dear sweet mom who never used foul language, told me much later it was like s**ting a watermelon. Loved her then, love her now.

This was a joke in the fleet:

A Marine frantically calls the base hospital

Marine: “Doc, you got to help me out!”

Navy Medical Officer: “What seems to be the trouble?”

Marine: “My sister is pregnant, and every few minutes she is making sounds in pain!”

Navy Medical Officer: “Is this her first baby?”

Marine: “No, this is her only brother, dumbass!”
